Deflected van Persie Shot Could Propel United 18 Points Clear.

RvP's Deflected Shot Puts
United In A Comfortable Position
United Could Go 18 Points Clear At The Top, As City Prepare For Their Game Against Newcastle.

Manchester United go 18 points clear of second placed rivals Manchester City. United have been smashing records throughout the season, and today they set a record with 25 wins in the first 30 games of the season and are the only club to do so, United have already broke the record for the amount of points at this stage of the season.

Wayne Rooney being rested for the lunchtime FA Cup replay game on Monday with Chelsea  with a few other first team player's being rested, United had a weaker team than usual, but still managed to pull off the 3 points to put their Twentieth title dream more likely, it took 26 minutes for the deadlock to be broken with a Robin van Persie shot that jerked off the knee of Bramble into the back of the net, but that was the only goal of the game, United managed to sustain their clean sheet run with a sixth consecutive game without coinciding a goal, but also managed to keep Sunderland's winless run going for the eighth game.
United Vs Sunderland, When The Title
Was Taken From Their
Hands.
United came back to the Stadium of Light, where they had a nightmare end to a season, where they thought they'd won the title, but then seconds later finding out, that City scored in the last minute of their match to snatch it out of the grasp of them, that moment fueled United's form this season with the team determined not to lose the title on goal difference again and have taken note of that wounded feeling by scoring 70 goals and have  8 games remaining to score even more, and they also remembered the Sunderland fans that mocked them by showing the relegation battling team no pity by making sure they collected all the points to keep their point advantaged going into the remaining games.

Macheda Heading Towards United Exit?

Macheda Looks Set To Leave United When The
Transfer  Window Opens In The Summer.

Federico Macheda looks set to leave Manchester United for good.

Macheda spending 6 years at United but only getting 19 appearances, he couldn't live up to the standards he set for himself on his debut in 2009 against Aston Villa, when he scored the match winning goal with a right-footed shot that curled past the keeper. But has failed to brake into the first team, and now with the new addition of Robin van Persie to the strike force has made the likelihood of him being chosen for the first team very low when he finishes his loan spell with VfB Stuttgart at the end of the season.

It's obvious that he has fell out of favour with Sir Alex Ferguson after going out on loan three times in just two years, there's a option in place for VfB Stuttgart to make the deal permanent in the summer, but for now he's contracted at Old Trafford until next summer, the Italian striker told the Daily Mail: "After Manchester it has been a struggle. I have had injuries and loan spells and they haven't really worked.

"But I am adapting now here at Stuttgart. That takes time. The important thing now is to find my place; get some playing time and develop as a player.

"Manchester United was more difficult than any club in the world because of the talent of the players there and because of the attention and the pressure.
"It wouldn't make sense to go back and do what I have done for the last two years. Maybe in the future I could go back, but not now."
Macheda's Debut Goal Vs Aston Villa In
2009 When United Won 3-2
Man United and the fans were expecting big thing's from Macheda after he kicked his United career off with a bang, some fans and newspapers went as far as him being dubbed as the next Cristiano Ronaldo after his wonder-goal in 2009 against Villa.
What do you think should we cash in on Federico Macheda?

At The Top.

Manchester United Go 15 Points Clear With 9 Games Remaining!

Manchester United go 15 points clear of Manchester City today after City lost 2-0 to a 10-men Everton side, and United held out for a 1-0 win.

United went ahead in the 21st minute after Rooney's shot was deflected in to the Reading net past the Ex-Arsenal keeper Stuart Taylor, Reading did well to keep Manchester United down to 1-0 but couldn't find the goal to put themselves level with United.

United have been enjoying a run of good results so far with 9 wins in their last 10 league games, they  have a commanding position in the league with just 9 games remaining and only needing 13 points to win their twentieth title.

With United playing host to Man City in just over 3 weeks, United look set to be holding the trophy come the end of the season, and may also win the FA Cup after De Gea kept United in by getting his foot in the way of Juan Mata's shot, and forcing a away replay on Easter Monday lunchtime.

Manchester United Vs Reading Match Build Up

The last time these two teams played each other in the league it turned into a goals fest with seven goals scored between the two, reading went ahead twice, and then lost 4-3 at the final whistle.

Man Utd Vs Reading Match Preview

Manchester United Vs Reading Match Preview.

Manchester United take on Reading on Saturday afternoon in the Barclays Premier League, the current leaders are 12 points in front of champions Manchester City with only 10 league games to play. United look in a commanding position to win their twentieth league title. With City playing earlier United could start the game knowing that they have the chance to go 15 points clear with 9 games remaining if they can win Saturdays game.

City's lunch time game could prove even more difficult because Everton will be looking to banish the demons from last Saturdays cup defeat at the hands of Wigan Athletic at Goodison Park.

Manchester City Await The Winners Of The Sixth Round Replay.

Manchester United or Chelsea will face City at Wembley next month, United will play away in the replay, after throwing away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 at home.

United will be happy to have their double dreams still alive after David De Gea kept a well hit shot from Mata out in the remaining minutes of the match. If United can get to the Semi-Finals and beat their neighbours that would mean Man City wouldn't win any silverware because of United.

What do you think of the Semi-Final draw?

United Draw 2-2 With Chelsea

United Draw 2-2 Chelsea,                                                            Now They Play A Replay,                                                             At Stamford Bridge.

Manchester United started their bounce back from                                                                                    the Madrid game during the week when Hernandez put
United 1-0 up in the first 5 minuets, then Rooney increasing the lead to 2-0 just after 9 minutes,
United had full control during the first half, Chelsea was struggling to cope with United. The pressure continued with Evra putting in a low ball across the six yard box to Rooney whose shot got parried straight to Luiz who headed it towards his own net, but Cech managed to push the ball wide.

Near the close of the second half  Chelsea managed to get some shots in but none of them made a difference too the game, United had to make a substitute two minutes before the half-time after Nani limped off the pitch.

Chelsea started the second half by attacking, but still struggled to break down Uniteds defence, it all changed when Chelsea made a 51 minute substitute and brought on Hazard for Lampard, Hazard changed the game for Chelsea by getting the ball into better positions and not long after the substitution Hazard made it 2-1 with a shot that curled into the top right corner of the net.
A few minutes later Chelsea managed to catch United on a counter and Ramires slotted the ball past De Gea to make it 2-2.

Some of the United players started to tire after trying to turn the game back in their favour, but Chelsea prevented United from making any difference. Both teams will have to lock horns once more to decide who will play Manchester City in the Semi-Finals on the 13th or 14th of April at Wembley.
