Hernandez Happy At United

Javier Hernandez has only started six times this season for Manchester United, the Mexican international says that despite not starting for United it will never affect his performance for the club.

The Mexican international hasn’t been a regular for United this season since the addition of Robin Van Persie - who had a magnificent start to his Manchester United career with 23 goals to his name in all competitions. However, the Dutchman has struggled to find the net lately and this could be a potential lifeline for Hernandez, who happens to be on the same score tally as Wayne Rooney with 16 goals in all competitions, with Hernandez having played two games less than Rooney.

When Van Persie transferred from Arsenal at the start of the season for £24Million, nobody would have thought that he would have had such impact on United. When he signed it was well known he would be one of the first names on the line-up with Wayne Rooney, with either Hernandez or Danny Welbeck being the ones to suffer from lack of games.

Hernandez, who signed for United in 2010 for £8Million, also made a fantastic start to his own United career with his first season tally totalling 20 goals. However, in his second season he didn’t make as good of an impact – only hitting the net 12 times in all competitions.

Hernandez, who is the first Mexican to play for Manchester United, has been on the bench much of this season with Van Persie featuring in the majority of Man United’s games. This has forced rumours to appear about moves for players such as Hernandez and Welbeck but both have rejected the rumours about leaving the club and going elsewhere. Recently Real Madrid have been rumoured of being interested in Hernandez and both Stoke and Sunderland interested in Welbeck.

Hernandez has told Sir Alex Ferguson he will be ready when called upon for United who aim to win their 20th league title success at the end of May.

"All the players in the world want to start every single game," he said.

"I am happy to be at this club. Of course I would love to start more often but I will keep the same attitude.

"When the gaffer wants me on the bench or the starting line-up I will do my best. My attitude is going to be very good because I want to respect the club, my team-mates and the coach."

Other rumours have cropped up about a speculated move for Atletico Madrid’s Falcao to Old Trafford in recent weeks, saying that United will swap the Mexican for the Columbian international. Manager Sir Alex Ferguson has calmed any rumours about this transfer happening in the near future,

"Do you honestly believe that?" he is quoted as saying on the club's official website.

"Really? It does amaze me that you come up with that one."

This leaves the door open for United’s rivals to try and secure the services of current Atletico Madrid striker Falcao, with now Falcao looking bound to go to Chelsea, Man City or Real Madrid.

Van Persie Ends Goal Drought, And Helps United Put One Hand On The Trophy

RVP Celebrates After Scoring A
Penalty Against Stoke
Robin Van Persie Ends Goal Drought, And Helps Put One Hand On The Trophy.

RVP scores 20th goal of the season, helping United come closer to securing the Premier League title. United eased past Stoke City in a 2-0 victory which means United only need 7 points to claim the title for a 20th time.

United have six games left of the season to gain 7 points. United took the
lead in the 4th minute after Michael Carrick flicked the ball past the Stoke goalkeeper, after Stoke defenders failed to get the ball out of danger. United kept control of Stoke throughout the whole game, creating countless chances, whereas Stoke failing to get any decent chances on goal.

United carried on controlling the game but it took another 61 minutes before increasing their lead to 2-0 after Van Persie carried the ball in the area then being brought down by Andy Wilkinson got a penalty the keeper guessed the right way but there was too much power for him to stop it going in.

Now United need 2 wins and a draw unless Man City fail to beat Wigan, which would see United winning the trophy as early as Monday.
