Macheda Heading Towards United Exit?

Macheda Looks Set To Leave United When The
Transfer  Window Opens In The Summer.

Federico Macheda looks set to leave Manchester United for good.

Macheda spending 6 years at United but only getting 19 appearances, he couldn't live up to the standards he set for himself on his debut in 2009 against Aston Villa, when he scored the match winning goal with a right-footed shot that curled past the keeper. But has failed to brake into the first team, and now with the new addition of Robin van Persie to the strike force has made the likelihood of him being chosen for the first team very low when he finishes his loan spell with VfB Stuttgart at the end of the season.

It's obvious that he has fell out of favour with Sir Alex Ferguson after going out on loan three times in just two years, there's a option in place for VfB Stuttgart to make the deal permanent in the summer, but for now he's contracted at Old Trafford until next summer, the Italian striker told the Daily Mail: "After Manchester it has been a struggle. I have had injuries and loan spells and they haven't really worked.

"But I am adapting now here at Stuttgart. That takes time. The important thing now is to find my place; get some playing time and develop as a player.

"Manchester United was more difficult than any club in the world because of the talent of the players there and because of the attention and the pressure.
"It wouldn't make sense to go back and do what I have done for the last two years. Maybe in the future I could go back, but not now."
